Hey Folks,
Well my other little dream has come true. Come the 11/11/11 I will be standing on the roof top of Africa celebrating the completion of my working the world goal, nearly 9 years in the making.
A couple of months ago someone was talking to me about Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. From that point on I couldn’t get it out of my mind that it would be the perfect spot to celebrate my 30th.
I looked into it further and then contacted Zara Tours after being recommended them. They have been awesome and fully supportive of helping me celebrate my goal. They have organised a trip for me, leaving on November 6th going via the scenic Machame route commonly known as the Whisky route and summiting on my birthday, 11/11/11 (providing I don’t get altitude sickness).
I know it’s short notice, but if you happen to be in the African neighbourhood and want to jump on board then get in contact, more the merrier. If not then you can read the blog post when I’m back.
